![]() ![]() I do have the steam version, and I don't recall it including the classic trilogy. I don't remember it having 'twitter and facebook' links. But maybe I should check again, its possible they have updated it and changed it to the new i0S twitter/facebook, etc version of the menu.īaggins: Hmm, see the original cd version its been a while. Is it more of a port of the i0S version or a hybrid between the i0S features and the original dos bard tales.īecause this is obviously a new version, I don't know how to help you with finding the class trilogy. I'm curious to know if this version is running an Apple II emulator like the i0S version or includes the dos versions like the old PC cd version. This GoG release must be based on the most recent version of the i0S version, to have those links.Īs far as the 'originals' that means things are a bit different. These icons must have been added in the Apple i0S version. To clarify, originally Twitter was started in 2006, and facebook in 2004. ![]() Hmm, see the original cd version its been a while. Could that be the problem?Īnd it does have those links. After installing the gog version, I uninstalled the classic Bard's Tale games that were included with modern version on CD. I had uninstalled the CD version a while back, but I left the classic Bard's Tale games intact. When I installed the gog version, my saves were still present from the CD version. I had previously had the original CD copy of The Bard's Tale installed. Twitter, Facebook, etc.īildo1977: I just remembered something. Maybe start button or in the folders themselves. I'd assume that GOG would try to have dosbox shortcuts to those installed somewhere. Does this version also include twitter and facebook links?īut if it was anything like the original CD-rom the dos bards tale files were separate in a folder original called something like Classic Bards Tale. They must have changed things for this release. ![]() ![]() buy them back so that you don't lose them.Baggins: I don't remember icons in the book. should be all dandy.Īlways double check if the item you sold is an "inferior" item before leaving shop. re-load the saved game, double check shop. double-ceck before leaving shop.Īnyway, rinse-repeat the first portion of adding "FF FF FF FF" after the new names listed in shop section of saved game file. the important thing is that they will no longer be inferior quality. Note: you will not get to buy them with 99 charges, but you can always change that after buying more easily with cheat engine or something similar. So, that's saved / closed hex editor etc, re-load that saved game file and resell those items in inventory with increased charges. The only item i cannot say for sure if it works on is the Dayblade. then, just below shop section should be inventory, if not search for one of the items you bought back. add "FF FF FF FF" after all the new shop items that did take. I would sell everything and then buy up anything that was "inferior" / green color coded. save where appropriately so as not to damage your file / lose something etc. LVLm: maximum level (all class levels added, only really applicable to casters, and this is the level they seem to resist at, for example if you went conjurer to 14th then sorceror to 14th, this would be 28 (1c in hex) ) NAME: name of the character (start of character file?) The numbers are stuff I haven't figured out (or tried to) yet: ![]()
